INLINE FREESTYLE KICKS OFF IN NANJING WITH SPEED SLALOM

The Inline Freestyle World Championships have commenced in Nanjing and have done so with the events of Speed Slalom. The skaters from Taipei have dominated this discipline, winning a total of four medals of the six up for grabs. The gold in the men’s category went to the host country, with Zhang Hao becoming the first WRG Speed Slalom world champion, while the silver and bronze medals went to Taipei skaters Chen Yu-Chi and Xiao Bing-Sheng. Their teammates in the women’s category, Chen Bei-Yi and Lo Pei-Yu, won the gold and bronze, while Iran’s Arabi Laya completed the winners podium with the silver.
