Italy gets the first golds of the World Roller Games

The Italian skaters Davide Arminchiardi and Chiara Trentini have obtained the first gold medals of the World Roller Games 2019 by winning this Wednesday Artistic Figures, in men and women, respectively. This discipline has celebrated the second day of competition and is the only one of the eleven of the program of the WRG2019 that has started before the official start of the event, which will take place this Thursday, July 4th.

Davide Arminchiardi took the gold by beating the Brazilian Felipe Augusto Nerle and the german Aaron Wunder, who are the winners of the silver and bronze medals in this order. In the women's category, the dominance of the Italian skaters was overwhelming, even on the podium. Chiara Trentini, Elettra Signorini and Elena Donadelli have been gold, silver and bronze, respectively.

The Artistic began its journey in the World Roller Games on Tuesday July 2nd at Sant Jordi Club, which will host the competition until July 9th. Two days later, the Palau Sant Jordi will take over from this discipline until the last day of the event, on July 14th.
