The roller skating community residing in France has to be congratulated. From this Wednesday, the French country has recovered the privilege of hosting the Artistic Roller Skating World Championships after a whopping 25 years. In this case, the venue will be La Vendée, located in the west of France.
The event is to be held in the facilities of modern Vendéspace until the following 13th and is set to host a total of 1,500 roller skaters from 35 countries, thereby guaranteeing a brilliant show.
The 3rd and 4th days of the competition will focus on compulsory figures and inline skating, until precision roller skating bursts onto the scene on Friday the 5th. But the first weekend of the competition will feature the modalities of individual dance and small groups.
The weekend programme will continue over the next few days with the corresponding absolute category until Wednesday the 10th, when style dance pairs make their appearance in the competition.
The event will culminate on Saturday the 13th with the competition of quartets, pairs in the long programme and big show groups, putting the icing on the cake with a very special event that will feature the world’s best skaters over a period of eleven unforgettable days.
