A new presentation of the World Roller Games Barcelona 2019 was recently held at the venue of the Velòdrom Illes Balears in Palma de Mallorca.
Led by WRG 2019 Executive Director Marc Caballé, the event was attended by Josep Abrines, Manager of the Foundation for Balearic Sport (Fundació per a l’Esport Balear), and Sebastián Rico, President of the Skating Federation of the Balearic Islands.
Some fifty people attended the presentation at the Velòdrom Illes Balears, formerly known as Palma Arena, which houses the headquarters of the Department of Culture, Participation and Sports of the Government of the Balearic Islands and also the Skating Federation of the Balearic Islands.
Those attending were able to learn first-hand of the developments of the WRG Barcelona just six months away from their commencement. Among other details, the act presented a summary of the eleven disciplines that will roll into action during this major roller sports event of 2019, including information on their respective venues or competition schedules between 4 and 14 July this year.
