Quarterfinals of the Women's World Championship have been defined

This Tuesday, the quarterfinals of the Women's World Championship of Inline Hockey have been defined after the dispute of the last matches of the group stage.

The United States finished first in Group A after comfortably defeating New Zealand by 6-0. The current world champion has won with authority all the matches she has played in this first phase.

In Group B, Czech Republic, another selection with options to take the World Championship, has won Finland 8 to 2, finishing in the first position of the group. Finally, in the closest and most exciting match of the day, Canada has overtaken Spain by a tight 2 to 1. The Spanish team dominated the game throughout the second half, but the players led by Marcin Malacz could not break the Canadian selection.

The Women's World Championship quarterfinals matches will be played the morning of Thursday 11th of July at CEM Mar Bella. The first game between Finland and Spain will be at 9:30 a.m., at 10:30 a.m. the US will play against France, at 12 p.m. the Czech Republic against Japan and, finally, at 1:30 p.m. Canada and Italy.

The winners of the quarterfinals will compete in the semi-finals Friday July 12th. The first semi-final will take place at 5 p.m. and the second semifinal at 6:30 p.m., both matches at CEM Mar Bella.
