Spain wins its seventh world title of Women's Rink Hockey

The Spanish women's team of Rink b has been proclaimed this Sunday world champion for the third time in a row and seventh in its history. The host has defeated Argentina 8-5 in the final played at Palau Blaugrana. The team led by Ricard Ares has revalidated the title won two years ago at the World Roller Games of Nanjing 2017.

Spain, all game ahead on the scoreboard during the match, was already winning 3-2 at halftime and has scored 5 extra goals from Berta Busquets (2) -which has been designated the MVP of the match-, Marta Piquero (2), María Sanjurjo (2), Laura Puigdueta and Sara Lolo.

The third place in the women's competition has been awarded to Chile after beating Italy 3-0, while the Intercontinental Championship title, played in Sant Cugat del Vallès, was won by the Colombian women's team, which finished first of a group between six teams.
