Barcelona’s Horta-Guinardó district was dressed to the hilt last weekend to pay tribute to fans of the small wheel with the celebration of the third edition of the 'Roda x Barcelona' roller competition. The event has been gaining followers over the years, so the organisers of the World Roller Games Barcelona 2019 wanted to be present to provide their unmitigated support to both the event and roller sports family that gathered there.
'Roda x Barcelona' included exhibitions and activities for all audiences, with interesting promotions of such attractive modalities as scooter, as well as a major activity early Sunday morning with the staging of the 3rd Cursa dels Mistos Half Roller Marathon organised by Club Patí Barcelona.
Alongside this already famous roller race were the first Alpine and Downhill Cups: inline and longboard. Two enticing modalities that make up the eleven to be present at the WRG Barcelona 2019, with all eyes on the on the street of Granja Vella during a productive day that extended beyond 8pm and where both the participants and audience braved the bad weather to enjoy the show.
