Some long-awaited news has just become official: the Final of the International Scooter Association (ISA) Scooter World Championship will take place as part of the World Roller Games 2019. Barcelona will therefore welcome the world’s best specialists of this spectacular discipline as they prepare to fight for the world championship title.
The World Skate-ISA Scooter World Championship will be held between Friday 5 and Sunday 7 July at Palau Sant Jordi in the park competition. The WRG 2019 will also simultaneously host a street Scooter competition with the best riders of the planet.
ISA’s 2019 qualifying events have already commenced in all the regions of the world (Europe, North America, Australia and Asia). One of these European events will also be staged in Barcelona, specifically at La Poma Skatepark on 23 and 24 March.
The winners of each of these qualifying events will receive a golden ticket that will give them a direct place for the final of the World Roller Games. The following nine riders from each event will also qualify for the finals of their region, in which they will be able to fight for the right to advance to the big final.
It should be remembered that Barcelona already hosted the ISA World Championship Final as part of Imagin Extreme during its past four editions (2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018), so the World Roller Games 2019 will accordingly take up the torch of this event, the world’s most important in the park competition and set to crown the eighth world champion of this discipline.
