Countdown to Nanjing 2017 World Roller Games

Nanjing will host the first edition of the World Roller Games - FIRS World Championships from 27 August to 10 September, a new and ambitious competition format promoted by the Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports that will bring together the World Championships of 10 roller sports disciplines.

For 15 days more than 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete for the world title. Having already hosted the World Speed Championships in 2016, the Chinese city and will see the best athletes in action competing in the 10 disciplines as regulated by FIRS: Alpine, Artistic, Downhill, Inline Freestyle, Inline Hockey, Rink Hockey, Roller Derby, Scooter, Skateboarding and Speed.

Barcelona will host the second edition of the World Roller Games in July 2019.
