New Inline Freestyle World Records

July 11, 2019

Inline Freestyle premiered on Thursday at the WRG Barcelona 2019 with Slides and Jump, and has distributed the first medals. These competitions have been the prelude to the expected performance of the Chinese Hao Zhang -  the double world champion in the Classic Slalom and Battle Slalom -, and also Russian Sofia Bogdanova’s performance, who at the age of 13 has already been four times world champion and nine European.

In Jump (high jump), the French Florian Petitcollin has revalidated the title of world champion with a jump of 1.62 meters, which has also served to beat the world record. The Senegalese Dame Fall, also with a mark of 1.62, has taken the silver medal having committed more failures. His compatriot Ngor Pierre Sarr, with 1.57 meters, has hung the bronze.

In women, the Spanish Marina Oliveras, who started as world champion, has been relegated to third place before the power of the Senegalese Awa Balde, who with a jump of 1.30 meters has also set a new world record. The French Maëliss Cona has repeated the second place of Arnhem 2018.

In Slides, the Thai Phuri Senarat has recovered for Asia the hegemony that in 2018 broke the Spanish Enrique Rubio with what was the first world gold medal for a non-Asian skater in nine years. Rubio had to conform with the silver medal and the Chinese Yang Huang Hai, with the bronze.

In the women's category, the Russian Olga Fokina, who ranked fourth in the last Arnhem World Championship 2018, has won the gold medal. The Ukrainian Bohdana Hotsko has repeated the second place last year, and also the Russian Anna Kukushkina has taken bronze.
